Infant - 6 weeks to 12 months
At Adventure Learning Center, we help children reach developmental milestones using Creative Curriculum strategies.
Our Infant Room opens at 6:00am. The babies in the Infant Room are cared for on their own schedule, which is a combination of the parents’ and the infants’ schedule in addition to ALC’s dedication to nurture each child.
Time is divided between feeding, changing, napping, cuddling, nurturing, sensory stimulation, and communication development for each infant.
When applicable, babies in the older age range are arranged into groupings to introduce socialization skills for eating and playing while maintaining the state required ratio of 1:4.
Diaper Schedule
Each infant is checked every hour, but is changed as needed!
Sign Language
Babies will be introduced to sign language as part of our curriculum.
Daily Report
Each infant will be sent home with a daily report on how his/her day went. As children grow, we continue to keep Creative Curriculum assessment portfolios, tools we use throughout their years with us to document how much they’re growing and learning.
